And they get slightly irritated, which is fair. But there’s a reason, and the reason is physics.
Sona ka apna koi rang nahi hota. It has a behaviour. It takes whatever colour is around it and throws it back at you — which is why gold in a showroom looks different from gold in sunlight, and why both look different from gold in a photograph. A diamond doesn’t sparkle either. It splits light into a specific pattern, and a jeweller’s eye recognises that pattern instantly. A model has to be taught it.

So the workflow here is genuinely different from every other category we do.
Hum aapki macro photography se kaam karte hain — polarised, turntable pe agar ho sake, multiple lighting setups. The more optical truth we start with, the less the model has to invent. Then we build the environment around it, and the piece itself gets protected through the pipeline rather than regenerated at each step.
Phir grade. Indian gold, especially 22k, has a warmth that international models consistently render too pale and too yellow. Wo correction manual hai. Har baar. And it’s the difference between the piece looking like your showroom and looking like a stock photo of somebody else’s necklace.
